Re: How to fix SSS.BAT error message? Hi Mary, welcome to the forum. Before we get going with this fix, make sure you check out this thread carefully. It is Essential that you should not disregard any of these steps and do everything in the order shown underneath. Please make sure you perform every stage until given an ok by myself, even if your problems seem to have disappeared. The absence of any errors does not guarantee the problem has disappeared. Please comply with these directions properly and do not attempt to repair this without my instruction, neither should you install any alternative fix programs except when requested by myself or any other admin from this message board. 1. Please download Reimage from the link below: (Click the link just above and you will then see a box pop up like the box underneath. Next choose whether to click ‘Run’ or save it and double click it from your desktop computer.) 2. Once Reimage has launched it should start a scan . (You will see something similar to the screen shot below ) 3. As soon as the diagnostic scan is finished, press Fix (The cleanup can take a little while, simply allow it to do it’s job.) 4. As soon as the fix is finished, reboot your device etc. (See beneath.) Let me know what happens…

Re: How to fix SSS.BAT error message? That’s ok. We must use another tool prior to the restoration is done. Caution – only run this application after you’ve performed a full diagnostic scan and repair using Reimage just above. 1. Please download Driver Detective from below and save it to your PC. Download Driver Detective Link
2. Install and load Driver Detective. It’s going to ask if you want to scan your machine, simply click the ‘Scan’ button in the software. Once it is done, it should display the results of the scan; click ‘Next’ and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the restoration. More descriptive tutorials can be found here. 3. As soon as the software program has concluded, you’ll want to restart your machine. Remember to post here telling me the end results! |

Re: How to fix SSS.BAT error message? Now that your system is clean, to help defend your system in the future I highly recommend that you research the following programs: Windows Update Spyware Doctor – to help prevent trojans, spyware and adware from installing. Install Spyware Doctor.
